Dick Mackey, former Oakmont guidance director, passed away Wednesday, 2/16/22. Dick was the guidance director at Oakmont from the late ’60s until his retirement in the late ’90s. He was a true Spartan and could be found on the sidelines at football games, in the stands cheering on the Basketball teams, or funding a fan bus to take students to a playoff game. Dick also served on many contract negotiating teams and was very involved in the union.
